چکیده
The Booz Daghi region, encompassing an area of 62,000 hectares, is situated 47 kilometers from Maneh and Semelghan city. This study explored the floristic composition, biological, and chorological spectra of the area through numerous random collections in various habitats and vegetation types, and from 220 plots established in selected plant communities during the growing season of 2021. A total of 252 vascular plant species, belonging to 173 genera and 53 families, were recorded as native to the Booz Daghi region. The most diverse families were Asteraceae (31 species), Poaceae (25 species), Lamiaceae (22 species), and Fabaceae (21 species). The genera Astragalus L. (10 species), Allium L., Convolvulus L., and Stachys L. (each with 5 species) were among the richest. Hemicryptophytes (31.3%) and therophytes (29.8%) emerged as the dominant life forms in the region. A significant number of species (63.5%) were identified as belonging to the Irano-Turanian region. The findings of this study indicate that the Booz Daghi region possesses a relatively rich flora, necessitating special attention and proper planning for the conservation of its biodiversity.
Introduction
Due to the accelerated destruction of various ecosystems and its adverse effects on biodiversity reduction in recent decades, researchers have increasingly focused on conservation issues. Recognizing that the first step towards effective and efficient protection of any resource is having accurate and comprehensive information, floristic studies offer valuable insights into the types of plants and their general biological and vegetative characteristics in different regions.
The climatic and environmental diversity of Iran has led to a rich flora and varied vegetation across its regions. The Booz Daghi region in North Khorasan province is one of the areas that has not yet been thoroughly studied in terms of floristic characteristics. This study was conducted to investigate the flora and geographical distribution of plants in this region. The findings of this study can provide valuable information for managers and decision-makers in the field of existing plant reserves and in planning for the conservation of these resources.
 
Materials and Methods
Approximately 500 plant samples were randomly collected from different habitats and vegetation types, including some collected from 220 plots of 100 m² each, located in selected plant communities during the growing season of 2021. The plant samples were identified using the Flora of Iran, Flora Iranica, and several revision papers. The nomenclature conforms to Flora Iranica and has been updated according to databases such as the International Plant Names Index (IPNI) and Plants of the World Online (POWO). The life forms of plants were determined based on Raunkiaer's classification system, and the distribution areas of plant species were classified by suitable flora. The chorotypes of the species, along with their distribution areas in Iran and other countries, were also identified.
 
Findings (Results)
In the preliminary survey of the Booz Daghi region, 252 plant species from 173 genera and 53 families were identified. In terms of species count, the largest contributing families were Asteraceae with 22 genera and 31 species, Poaceae with 19 genera and 25 species, Lamiaceae with 10 genera and 22 species, and Fabaceae with 10 genera and 21 species. Among the plant genera, Astragalus had the most species (10), followed by Allium, Convolvulus, and Stachys (each with 5 species), and Centaurea, Cousinia, and Ziziphora (each with 4 species). Acanthophyllum, Salvia, and Tulipa each contributed 3 species.
The biological spectrum analysis of the region revealed that hemicryptophytes, therophytes, geophytes, chamaephytes, and phanerophytes constituted 31.3%, 29.8%, 14.7%, 12.7%, and 11.5% of the life forms, respectively. The geographical distribution study of plants indicated that the Irano-Turanian elements comprised 63.5% of the species, followed by Irano-Turanian/Mediterranean elements with 13.9% and Euro-Siberian/Mediterranean/Irano-Turanian elements with 11.9%. The remaining species in the Irano-Turanian region were part of other floristic regions.
 
Conclusion
The present study investigated the flora of the Booz Daghi region. The findings revealed that the area encompasses 252 plant species from 173 genera and 53 families. Over 63.5% of these species belonged to the Irano-Turanian region, to which the Booz Daghi region is affiliated. Due to challenging environmental conditions, families such as Asteraceae, Poaceae, Lamiaceae, and Fabaceae, and among life forms, hemicryptophytes and therophytes, were most prevalent. The study concludes that the Booz Daghi region possesses a relatively rich species diversity, making it an important area for further studies. The authors recommend comprehensive planning and additional research for biodiversity conservation in this region.

مقدمه

در دهه‏های اخیر، روند شتابان تخریب اکوسیستم‏های مختلف و تأثیرات منفی آن بر کاهش تنوع زیستی، پژوهشگران را به موضوعات حفاظتی بیش از پیش علاقمند کرده است (Lemenih, 2004; Tahir et al., 2016). با توجه به اینکه نخستین گام در راستای حفاظت مؤثر و کارآمد از هر منبعی، داشتن اطلاعات صحیح و جامع دربارۀ آن است، مطالعات فلوریستیکی اطلاعات ارزشمندی از انواع گیاهان و خصوصیات کلی زیستی و رویشی آنها در مناطق مختلف ارائه می‏دهد و به این ترتیب نقش ویژه و بارزی در حفاظت از گیاهان خواهد داشت (Memariani et al., 2016a)؛ به‏علاوه شناسایی پوشش گیاهی و مطالعۀ پراکندگی جغرافیایی گیاهان، اساس بررسی‏ها و پژوهش‌‌های اکولوژیکی در هر منطقه به شمار می‏رود و نقش به‌‌سزایی در جهت‏دهی مدیریتی در آن منطقه دارد (Taghipour et al., 2012; Moetamedi and Khorasaninejad, 2018).

با توجه به تنوع زیاد اقلیمی و محیطی کشور، تنوع بسیار زیادی در فلور و پوشش گیاهی مناطق مختلف وجود دارد و مطالعات مجزایی برای تکمیل اطلاعات هر منطقه لازم است؛ به عبارتی دیگر موقعیت ویژۀ ایران، یعنی قرارگیری در بین سه ناحیۀ مهم جغرافیای گیاهی شامل ایران – تورانی، اروپا – سیبری و صحارا – سندی، باعث شده است ایران دارای جایگاه ممتازی در تنوع گیاهی باشد؛ به طوری که بخش‏هایی از دو کانون جهانی تنوع زیستی، یعنی قفقاز و به‏ویژه ایران – آناتولی (54 درصد) را پوشش می‏دهد (Noroozi et al., 2018, 2019).

مطالعات فلوریستیکی در هر منطقه از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخوردار است؛ زیرا اطلاعات اولیه و لازم بسیاری از مطالعات اکولوژیکی، مرتع‌داری، جنگل‌داری، گیاهان دارویی و غیره را فراهم می‌کند (Tabad et al., 2016) و همین‌‌طور بیانگر توانایی‌های ژنتیکی موجود در آن منطقه است (Nadaf et al., 2017)؛ همچنین بسیاری از گیاهان شاخص‌های بارزی از شرایط محیطی یا میزان تخریب اکوسیستم‌های طبیعی هستند و وجود این قبیل گیاهان در هر منطقه، راهنما و اخطاردهنده برای مدیران و تصمیم‌گیران عرصه‌های منابع طبیعی است.

تاکنون مطالعات فلوریستیکی زیادی در مناطق مختلف ناحیۀ ایران – تورانی کشور انجام شده است که ازجملۀ ‏آنها به پژوهش‌‌های انجام‏شده در خراسان - کپه داغ (Memariani et al., 2016b)، منطقۀ شکار ممنوع سربند (Bardsiri et al., 2017)، مناطق بیابانی آران و بیدگل (Batooli, 2018)، منطقۀ گنبروف کوه سهند (Mohsennezhad, 2018)، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ پلنگ گالون (Sadeghipour et al., 2018)، منطقۀ لوداب (Aminimehr et al., 2019)، کوه چوبین (Bastouh Filabadi et al., 2020)، منطقۀ درختک فریدن (Davazdahemami et al., 2020)، منطقۀ کوهپایه (Abolhasani et al., 2021)، منطقۀ گلستانکوه (Akhavan Roofigar & Bagheri, 2021)، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ تنگ صیاد (Bagheri et al., 2021)، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ اشترانکوه (Mehrnia et al., 2021)، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قلاجه (Nemati Peykani et al., 2021)، منطقۀ لیلاخ دهگلان (Tabad et al., 2021) و منطقۀ بازرجان (Mohammadi et al., 2022) اشاره می‌‌شود. در استان خراسان شمالی نیز مطالعات فلوریستیکی انجام شده است که از میان آنها‏ به پژوهش‌‌های انجام‏شده در منطقۀ درکش (Aydani et al., 2008)، حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه (Asaadi, 2009)، مراتع سردسیر استان خراسان شمالی (Jankju et al., 2011)، پارک ملی سالوک (Ezazi et al., 2014)، پارک ملی ساریگل (Rahchamani et al., 2014)، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود (Memariani et al., 2016a) و منطقۀ جوزک – چمن‏بید (Nadaf et al., 2017) اشاره می‌‌شود.

هرچند تاکنون پژوهش‌‌ها و مطالعات فلوریستیکی زیادی در مناطق مختلف استان خراسان شمالی انجام شده است، با در نظر گرفتن تنوع آب و هوایی و شرایط محیطی این استان، هنوز مناطق زیادی وجود دارند که اطلاعات کافی از لیست فلوریستیکی و خصوصیات رویشی آنها دردسترس نیست. منطقۀ بوزداغی در استان خراسان شمالی یکی از این مناطق است که تاکنون مطالعه‏ای درزمینۀ فلور آن صورت نگرفته است؛ بنابراین پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی فلوریستیکی و پراکنش جغرافیایی گیاهان در منطقۀ بوزداغی در استان خراسان شمالی انجام شد. یافته‏های حاصل از این پژوهش،‏ اطلاعات ارزشمندی را در راستای اطلاع از ذخایر گیاهی موجود و برنامه‏ریزی برای حفاظت از این منابع در اختیار مدیران و تصمیم‏گیران مربوط قرار می‌‌دهد.

 

 

 

 

مواد و روش‎ها

منطقۀ مطالعه‏شده

منطقۀ بوزداغی در 47 کیلومتری شهرستان مانه و سملقان در حد فاصل ̋15 ´30 °56 تا ´36 °56 طول شرقی و̋ 30 ´51 °37 تا ´56 °37 عرض شمالی قرار دارد (شکل 1). ارتفاع قلۀ بوزداغی 1692 متر بالاتر از سطح دریا و وسعت آن حدود 62000 هکتار است. طبق آمار ایستگاه هواشناسی خرتوت، میانگین بارندگی سالانۀ منطقه 244 میلی‌متر و متوسط دمای سالانه 1/16 درجۀ سانتی‌‌گراد است. براساس روش دومارتن، منطقه دارای اقلیم خشک است؛ همچنین طبق منحنی آمبروترمیک، از اردیبهشت‌‌ماه تا آذرماه شرایط خشکی بر منطقه حکم‌‌فرماست (شکل 2).

در منطقۀ بوزداغی، میزان تخریب پوشش گیاهی به‏دلیل قطع درختان، شدت چرا و شخم‏زدن اراضی مرتعی زیاد است. گونه‏های درختی و درختچه‏ای غالب منطقه عبارتند از: اُرس (Juniperus polycarpos K.Koch)، کرکو یا افرا (Acer monspessulanum subsp. turcomanicum (Pojark. ex Czerniak.) Rech.f.)، زرشک (Berberis integerrima Bunge)، آلبالوی جنگلی (Prunus microcarpa C.A.Mey.)، ارغوان (Cercis griffithii Boiss.) و ارژن (Prunus scoparia (Spach) C.K.Schneid.).

روش پژوهش

حدود 500 نمونۀ گیاهی به روش تصادفی از رویشگاهها و تیپ‏های رویشی مختلف جمع‏آوری شد. بخشی از نمونه‏ها از 220 پلات‏ 100 متر مربعی (شکل 3) واقع در اجتماعات گیاهی منتخب طی فصل رویشی سال 1400 جمع‏آوری شد.

شناسایی نمونه‏های گیاهی با استفاده از فلور ایران (Assadi, 1988-2021)، فلورا ایرانیکا (Rechinger, 1963-2015) و سایر منابع معتبر شامل فلور رنگی ایران (Ghahreman, 1978-2007; Attar et al., 2014-2021) و جنس‏های Euphorbia (Pahlevani and Riina, 2011, 2014) و Allium (Fritsch and Abbasi, 2013) انجام شد؛ همچنین برای اطمینان از صحت و به‏روزبودن اسامی گیاهان شناسایی‏شده از وب‏سایت‏های IPNI (2022) و POWO (2022) استفاده شد. نمونه‌های گیاهی در هرباریوم دانشگاه پیام نور بجنورد نگهداری می‌شود. شکل زیستی گیاهان براساس سیستم طبقه‌بندی رُنکیه (Raunkiaer, 1934) تعیین شد. مناطق انتشار گونه‏های گیاهی با مراجعه به فلورهای شناسایی گیاهان و همچنین فلورهای ترکیه (Davis, 1965-1988)، عراق (Townsend et al., 1966-1988) و فلسطین (Zohary and Feinbrum-Dothan, 1966-1986) تعیین شد؛ سپس کوروتیپ گونه‏ها با توجه به مناطق انتشار آنها در ایران و سایر کشورها و براساس تلفیقی از تقسیم‌بندی‌های جغرافیایی گیاهی ایران (Asri, 2007) مشخص شد.

 

نتایج

در بررسی فلوریستیکی منطقۀ بوزداغی در استان خراسان شمالی، 252 گونۀ گیاهی متعلق به 173 جنس و 53 تیرۀ گیاهی یافت شد (جدول ضمیمۀ 1). ازنظر تعداد گونه، Asteraceae با 22 جنس و 31 گونه، Poaceae با 19 جنس و 25 گونه، Lamiaceae با 10 جنس و 22 گونه و Fabaceae با 10 جنس و 21 گونه بیشترین سهم را در میان تیره‌های شناسایی‌‌شده دارند (شکل 4). جنس‌های Astragalus با 10 گونه، Allium، Convolvulus و Stachys هریک با پنج گونه، Centaurea، Cousinia و Ziziphora هریک با چهار گونه و Acanthophyllum، Salvia و Tulipa هریک با سه گونه بیشترین تعداد گونه را در میان جنس‌های گیاهی منطقه دارند.

بررسی شکل زیستی گیاهان منطقه نشان می‌دهد همی‏کریپتوفیت‏ها با 3/31 درصد و تروفیت‏ها با 8/29 درصد، شکل‌های زیستی غالب منطقه را تشکیل می‏دهند (شکل 5).

پراکندگی جغرافیایی گیاهان منطقه نشان می‌دهد عناصر ایران – تورانی، 5/63 درصد از گونه‏ها را تشکیل می‌دهند و پس از آنها عناصر مشترک ایران – تورانی و مدیترانه‌ای با 9/13 درصد و عناصر مشترک اروپا – سیبری، مدیترانه‌ای و ایران – تورانی با 9/11 درصد قرار دارند. سایر گونه‏ها علاوه‌‌بر ناحیۀ رویشی ایران – تورانی، در نواحی رویشی دیگری نیز یافت می‌شود (شکل 6).

بحث و نتیجه‌گیری

در پژوهش حاضر، عناصر گیاهی موجود در منطقۀ بوزداغی بررسی شد. براساس نتایج، در این منطقه 252 گونۀ گیاهی یافت شد که به 173 جنس و 53 تیرۀ گیاهی تعلق دارند. این منطقه با توجه به عرصه‌های وسیع دشتی و کوهپایه‌ای (دامنۀ ارتفاعی 1427-540 متر) و اقلیم خشک حاکم بر آن (طول دورۀ خشک هشت‌‌ماهه با میزان بارندگی سالانۀ 244 میلی‌متر)، در مقایسه با مناطقی با میزان بارندگی سالانۀ به‌‌طور تقریبی مشابه در همین استان دارای تنوع گونه‌ای زیادی است؛ برای مثال تعداد گونه‏های موجود در منطقۀ بوزداغی در مقایسه با مراتع ییلاقی اسدلی – پلمیس (Asaadi & Dadkhah, 2011) و پارک ملی سالوک (Taya et al., 2010; Nadaf et al., 2011) بیشتر است. هرچند وسعت این مناطق نسبت به منطقۀ بوزداغی کمتر است، به‏دلیل مرتفع‏بودن این مناطق و جنبۀ حفاظتی آنها (مراتع ییلاقی اسدلی – پلمیس با دامنۀ ارتفاعی 2350-1550 متر و پارک ملی سالوک با دامنۀ ارتفاعی 2900-1100 متر)، شدت تخریب‏شان کمتر است؛ بنابراین به نظر می‌رسد تنوع گونه‌ای کمتر در مناطق یادشده به‌‌طور عمده به‌دلیل دسترسی‌‌نداشتن یا مراجعه‌‌نکردن این پژوهشگران به تمام رویشگاههای آنها و محدودیت‌های جمع‌آوری گیاهان بوده است؛ درمقابل منطقۀ بوزداغی در مقایسه با قرق درکش (Aydani et al., 2008)، حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه (Asaadi, 2009)، پارک ملی ساریگل (Rahchamani et al., 2014) و منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود (Memariani et al., 2016a) تنوع گونه‌ای کمتری دارد. این مناطق نیز به‌دلیل داشتن دامنۀ ارتفاعی بالاتر و حفاظت بیشتر (قرق درکش با دامنۀ ارتفاعی 2450-1000 متر، حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه با دامنۀ ارتفاعی 3000-1280 متر، پارک ملی ساریگل با دامنۀ ارتفاعی 2840-1400 متر و منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود با دامنۀ ارتفاع 2770-940 متر)، شدت تخریب کمتری دارند؛ ضمن اینکه میزان بارندگی در این مناطق (500-330 میلی‌متر) نسبت به منطقۀ بوزداغی بیشتر است؛ به‌علاوه جمع‌آوری گیاهان در منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود و حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه طی شش‌‌سال انجام شده است؛ بنابراین پژوهشگران فرصت کافی داشتند که به رویشگاههای مختلف مراجعه و تمام گونه‌های گیاهی را در سال‌های پربارش جمع‌آوری کنند.

تیره‌های Asteraceae، Poaceae، Lamiaceae، Fabaceae و Brassicaceae به‌ترتیب بیشترین غنای گونه‌ای را در منطقه دارند. در نتایجی مشابه، پژوهشگرانی نظیر Asaadi (2009); Jankju, et al., (2011); Ezazi, et al., (2014); Rahchamani, et al., (2014); Memariani, et al., (2016a) و Nadaf, et al., (2017) بر فراوانی اعضای این تیره‌ها در مناطق مطالعه‌شدۀ خود تأکید کردند. فراوانی بیشتر تیرۀ Asteraceae ممکن است ناشی از تنوع گونه‌ای زیاد و همچنین تنوع اشکال رویشی آن به همراه قابلیت سازگاری زیاد آنها با شرایط سخت محیطی باشد. اغلب گونه‏های این تیره، به‏دلیل ویژگی‌های ریخت‌شناسی نظیر داشتن خار یا تیغ یا وجود متابولیت‌های ثانویه، خوش‌‌خوراکی کمتری دارند (Vahabi et al., 2018) و همین‌‌طور به‏دلیل قابلیت تولید بذر زیاد، دارای پراکنش وسیعی هستند. برخی از پژوهشگران، فراوانی گونه‏های تیرۀ Asteraceae را بیانگر تخریب فلور منطقه میدانند (Kashipazha et al., 2004; Dolatkhahi et al., 2010; Yousofi et al., 2011; Moradi et al., 2013; Mirhoseini et al., 2018 ) که در منطقۀ بوزداغی متأثر از قطع درختان، چرای شدید دام و شخم‏زدن اراضی مرتعی است؛ درنتیجه گونه‏های مهاجم این تیره جایگزین گونه‏های سایر تیره‏ها شده‏ است.

در منطقۀ بوزداغی، عناصر ایران – تورانی 5/63 درصد گونه‏ها را تشکیل می‌دهند. شکل زیستی همی‌کریپتوفیت با 4/34 درصد بیشترین سهم را در این گروه کورولوژیکی دارد و پس از آن، تروفیت‌ها و کامفیت‌ها به‌ترتیب با 4/19 و 5/17 درصد قرار دارند. طبق نظر Hedge and Wendelbo (1978)، ویژگی بارز ناحیۀ رویشی ایران – تورانی وجود جنس‌های Astragalus، Acantholimon، Cousinia، Acanthophyllum، Allium، Dionysia، Eremurus، Ferula، Nepeta، Stachys و Tulipa با سطح اندمیسم زیاد است. عصری در بررسی فلور پناهگاه حیات‌وحش موته علاوه‌‌بر جنس‌های یادشده، Artemisia، Centaurea، Echinops، Salvia و Ziziphora را جنس‌های شاخص ناحیۀ ایران – تورانی معرفی کرد (Asri, 2008). در منطقۀ بوزداغی نیز اغلب جنس‌های نام‌‌برده با گونه‏های متعدد حضور دارند که نشان از تسلط رویش‌های ایران – تورانی در این منطقه دارد.

در سایر مطالعات فلوریستیکی انجام‌شده در استان خراسان شمالی نیز نتایج به‌‌طور تقریبی مشابهی به دست آمده است؛ برای مثال در حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه (Asaadi, 2009)، مراتع سردسیر استان خراسان شمالی (Jankju et al., 2011)، پارک ملی سالوک (Ezazi et al., 2014)، پارک ملی ساریگل (Rahchamani et al., 2014)، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود (Memariani et al., 2016a) و منطقۀ جوزک – چمن‏بید (Nadaf et al., 2017) عناصر ایران – تورانی به‌ترتیب 7/64، 65، 2/56، 8/60، 8/59 و 59 درصد گیاهان این مناطق را تشکیل می‌دهند؛ البته در این مقالات تعداد گونه‏های اندمیک ایران بیش از تعداد واقعی آنها ذکر شده است که دلیل آن به‌‌طور احتمالی دسترسی‌‌نداشتن پژوهشگران به منابع به‌روزتر بوده است. در حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه، پارک ملی سالوک، پارک ملی ساریگل، منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود و منطقۀ جوزک – چمن‏بید به‌ترتیب 66، 5/64، 73، 75 و 15 درصد گونه‏های اندمیک گفته‌‌شده، گیاهان انحصاری واقعی ایران هستند.

به‌طور کلی، در مناطقی با شرایط محیطی سخت و چرای شدید دام، گیاهانی دارای سازگاری و فراوانی بیشتری هستند که جوانۀ انتهایی خود را در شرایط نامساعد حفظ کنند. در میان شکل‌های زیستی، همی‌کرپتوفیت‌ها به‏دلیل داشتن جوانۀ انتهایی در سطح زمین، ژئوفیت‌ها به‏دلیل داشتن جوانۀ انتهایی در زیر زمین و تروفیت‌ها به‏دلیل گذراندن شرایط سخت به‌صورت بذر، دارای قابلیت سازگاری بیشتری در مناطق خشک و نیمه‌خشک با چرای شدید دام نسبت به کامفیت‌ها و فانروفیت‌ها هستند. در منطقۀ بوزداغی با اقلیم خشک و شدت چرای دام، همی‌کرپتوفیت‌ها و تروفیت‌ها به‌ترتیب با 3/31 و 8/29 درصد فراوان‌ترین شکل‌های زیستی منطقه هستند؛ ضمن اینکه اغلب در دامنه‏های کوهستانی و دره‏های منطقه، شکل‌های زیستی کامفیت و فانروفیت به‌ترتیب با 7/12 و 5/11 درصد سهم ‏چشمگیری در فلور منطقه دارند. در سایر مناطق استان خراسان شمالی نیز نتایج مشابهی به دست آمده است؛ برای مثال همی‌کرپتوفیت‌ها و تروفیت‌ها در حوزۀ آبخیز فیروزه (Asaadi, 2009) به‌ترتیب با 8/36 و 7/25 درصد، در پارک ملی سالوک (Ezazi et al., 2014) با 7/36 و 4/34 درصد، در پارک ملی ساریگل (Rahchamani et al., 2014) با 9/34 و 9/33 درصد، در منطقۀ حفاظت‏شدۀ قورخود (Memariani et al., 2016a) با 9/38 و 4/23 درصد و در منطقۀ جوزک – چمن‏بید (Nadaf et al., 2017) با 4/35 و 7/34 درصد، فراوان‌ترین شکل‌های زیستی این مناطق را تشکیل می‌دهند.

 

نتیجه ‎گیری

در پژوهش حاضر، فلور منطقۀ بوزداغی در خراسان شمالی به‌‌صورت مقدماتی بررسی شد. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد در این منطقه، 252 گونۀ گیاهی از 173 جنس و 53 تیرۀ گیاهی موجود است که بیش از 5/63 درصد آنها به ناحیۀ رویشی ایران – تورانی تعلق دارد و بیانگر تعلق منطقۀ بوزداغی به این ناحیۀ رویشی است. به‏دلیل شرایط سخت محیطی، تیره‏های Asteraceae، Poaceae، Lamiaceae و Fabaceae و در بین شکل‌های زیستی، همی‌کرپتوفیت‌ها و تروفیت‌ها بیشترین فراوانی را دارند. براساس نتایج، منطقۀ بوزداغی غنای گونه‌ای به‌‌نسبت خوبی دارد؛ به همین دلیل باید منطقه‌‌ای کلیدی و مهم در مطالعات قلمداد و برای حفاظت از تنوع زیستی آن برنامه‌ریزی جامع و مطالعات تکمیلی انجام شود.
