| Abstract This study was conducted to reconstruct the phylogenetic tree of the members of the genus Acanthobrama using osteological traits. For this purpose, four species, including A. urmianus (from the Urmia basin, ShahrChay River), A. marmid (from the Tigris basin), A. persidis (from the Kor River basin), and A. microlepis (from the Caspian Sea basin, Bijar River) were collected using electrofishing device and then fixed into 10% buffered formalin after anesthesia. For osteological examination, five specimens of each species were cleared and stained. Out-group taxa for phylogenetic analyses was selected Abramis brama. After extracting osteological data of the studied taxa, the data matrix was prepared and was inserted into the TNT and PAUP software to reconstruct phylogenetic tree. Based on the results, a total of 10 osteological characteristics were identified for members of Acanthobrama genus. The studied taxa were divided into two clads, including A. microlepis + A. urmianus and A. marmid + A. persidis. The most important of characteristics was related to the neurocranium, which accounted more than half of the diversity. The important characteristics of this part were related to the diversity in the ethmoid region, including the supra and lateral ethmoid and vomer, as well as basioccipital segment located in the occipital portion. The other features were related to the different parts of the jaw, opercular series and fins. Keyword: Taxonomy, Systematic, Osteology, Cladogram, Outgroup Introduction The members the genus Acanthobrama, belongs to the family of Leuciscidae, have four species of A. urmianus, A. marmid, A. persidis and A. microlepis in the inland waters of Iran (Eagderi et al., 2022). This genus is characteristised by having two rows of pharyngeal teeth, a large number of vertebrae and no barbels (Pourshabanan et al., 2021). There are many disagreements in taxonomic status of the members of this genus in Iran due to their morphological similarities (Coad, 2016). Several features are used in the taxonomy of fish e.g. morphometric and meristic characters, color pattern and molecular traits. Considering the lack of reliable morphological features to distinguish the members of the genus Acanthobrama, this work aimed to investigate the phylogenetic relationship of this genus in the inland waters of Iran based on osteological characteristics. The results of this study can help to provide valuable taxonomic characteristics to identify the members of this taxa. Materials and Methods For this research, Acanthobrama species including A. marmid from Dinevar River, A. persidis from Kor River, A. microlepis from Bijar River and A. urmianus from Shahr Chai River as in-group, and Abramis brama as an out-group were collected. After sampling, the specimens were anesthetized using 1% clove solution and fixed into 10% buffered formalin. For osteological examination, five specimens of each species were cleared and stained using modified method of Taylor and Van Dyke (1985) using alizarin red and alcian blue for bone and cartilage staining, respectively. The skeletal segments were scanned with a Scanner (Epson v700) and examined under a stereomicroscope. The data matrix was prepared using ten extracted characters. Phylogenetic reconstruction was performed based on maximum parsimony criterion and Neighbor Joining respectively using PAUP (Swofford, 1998) and TNT (Goloboff Pablo et al., 2008) and cluster analysis using PAST (Hammer et al., 2001) softwares. Research Findings The data matrix for four in-groups and one out-groups is presented in Table 1. Character states: 1- the pre-ethmoid is (0) cartilaginous, (1) semi-ossified, and (2) ossified; 2 - the posterior part of vomer is (0) long and passes the middle part of the both lateral-ethmoid, and (1) short and extends to the middle part of the both lateral ethmoids; 3- masticatory plate of the basioccipital (0) has an oval shape with two laterally developed processes, and (1) is circular with two undeveloped processes; 4- the two anterior processes of basioccipital are (0) developed, and (1) undeveloped; 5- anterior margin of the lateral-ethmoid has (0) three depressions, and (1) one median depression; 6- operculum (0) has two developed projections, and (1) has two undeveloped projection or without projections; 7- palatine (0) with a pointed middle process, and (1) without process; 8- the number of branched rays of the anal fin are (0) 26, (1)14-15, and (2) 9-10; 9- the third unbranched ray is (0) thin, and (1) thick; 10- The pharyngeal teeth counts in the outer row is (0) 5, and (1) 4. The results of the parsimony analysis based on data matrix had most parsimony trees with a length of 12, consistency index (CI) of 1 and retention index (RI) of 1. The consensus majority tree was selected based on values obtained from 1000 replicates (Fig. 1). Discussion of Results and Conclusions The classification of Acanthobrama species based on skeletal characters confirms previous studies on the classification of these taxa based on molecular data (Teimori et al., 2015). The parsimony analysis divided the Iranian member of this genus into two main clades of A. microlepis + (A. marmid + A. persidis) and A. urmianus. Acanthobrama persidis and A. marmid were clustered in the same clade by having two synapomorphy traits, including semi-ossified pre-ethmoid and 4 pharyngeal teeth, which overlapped with the results of Neighbor Joining analysis. Timuri et al. (2015) based on the mitochondrial gene of Cytb reported A. microlepis as a group from the clade of A. persidis + A. marmid. Based on neighbor joining and cluster analysis, the members of this genus were categorized into two subclades, including A. marmid + A. persidis and A. microlepis + A. urmianus. The two species A. urmianus and A. microlepis were clusterd in the same group by having five pharyngeal teeth in the outer row, the thickness of the third unbranched ray in the dorsal fin and the number of branched rays of the anal fin. Based on the results, the most differences between in-groups were related to the skeletal elements of the neurocranium. مقدمه کشور ایران در منطقه تبادلات عمده جغرافیای جانوری قرار گرفته و دارای فون ماهیان متنوعی است (Coad, 1996) که از دیدگاه بومشناختی و تنوع زیستی از اهمیت فراوانی برخوردار بوده و توجه بسیاری از محققان را به خود معطوف داشته است. در بین ماهیان آب شیرین ایران، راسته کپورماهی شکلان، بهعنوان بزرگترین گروه همتبار ماهیان آب شیرین، بیشترین تنوع را دارد. این راسته از جنبههای پرورشی، اقتصادی و علمی بسیار حائز اهمیت است (Nelson, 2006). آرایهشناسی این گروه از ماهیان همواره شایان بحث بوده و دارای ابهامات بسیاری است (Kucuk et al., 2014). در مطالعات اخیر روابط بین زیرخانوادههای کپورماهیان (Cyprinidae) بهعنوان یک گروه همتبار، دچار تغییرات متعددی شده است و شماری از زیرخانوادههای آن ازجمله زیرخانواده Leuciscinae به رتبه خانواده ارتقا داده شدهاند (Stout et al., 2016; Çiçek et al., 2023; Saad et al., 2023). در بین مرواریدماهیان (قنات ماهیان) اعضای جنس مروارید ماهی Acanthobrama دارای چهار گونه مروارید ماهی ارومیه A. urmianus، مروارید ماهی مارمید A. marmid، مروارید ماهی پارسی A. persidis و مروارید ماهی لب نازک A. microlepis در آبهای داخلی ایران است (Eagderi et al., 2022). این جنس متعلق به خانواده Leuciscidae بوده که از لحاظ ظاهری فاقد سبیلک و دارای دو ردیف دندان حلقی و تعداد مهرههای زیاد است (Pourshabanan et al., 2021) و شامل 12 جنس است که 42 گونه از آن در ایران گزارش شدهاند (Eagderi et al., 2020). اختلاف نظرهای فراوانی دربارة جایگاه آرایهشناختی اعضای این جنس در ایران بهدلیل شباهتهای ریختی وجود دارد (Coad, 2016)؛ برای مثال، در گونه مروارید ماهی ارومیه A. urmianus خارهای آبششی کوتاه است و بهواسطة نوک گرد و برآمدة خود از ماهیان دیگر این جنس تشخیص داده میشود؛ ولی این ویژگی به گونه مروارید ماهی لب نازک A. microlepis بسیار نزدیک است که در حوضه دریای خزر یافت میشود. ویژگیهای متعددی نظیر صفات ریختسنجی، شمارشی، الگوهای رنگی و مولکولی برای ردهبندی ماهیان استفاده میشود که هرکدام از آنها به تنهایی یا بهصورت ترکیبی در شناسایی و ردهبندی ماهیان کارایی بالای خود را نشان دادهاند. با این حال، نتایج ریختشناسی گاهیاوقات با مطالعات مولکولی در تضاد است (Zardoya and Doadrio, 1999)؛ زیرا برخی از خصوصیات ریختی مستعد هموپلازی (تشابه ساختاری) و انعطافپذیری ریختی هستند (Perea et al., 2010). در این بین، مطالعة استخوانشناسی در مطالعات آرایهشناسی و شناخت ارتباط ماهیان اهمیت بالایی دارد و در اکثر موارد نتایج این نوع دادهها با نتایج مولکولی تطابق دارند (Dean et al., 2004). روشهای مختلفی برای بازسازی تبارزایی وجود دارد که ازجملة آنها میتوان به روشهای فنتیکی و کلادیستیکی اشاره کرد. پذیرفتهترین روش در مطالعات تبارزایی براساس صفات ریختی روش کلادیستیک است. ردهبندی اعضای جنس Acanthobrama در ایران براساس مطالعات ریختی و مولکولی صورت گرفته است که ازجملة آن میتوان به مطالعه Teimori et al. (2015) و Abbasi-Ranjbar et al. (2019) اشاره کرد. تاکنون مطالعه تبارزایی اعضای این آرایه در ایران براساس ساختار استخوانی مطالعه نشده است. این پژوهش با هدف بازنگری وضعیت تبارزایی و آرایهشناسی اعضای این جنس در آبهای داخلی ایران براساس ویژگیهای استخوانشناسی انجام شد. با توجه به شباهتهای ریخت ظاهری اعضای این جنس و فقدان صفات تفکیکی ریختی معتبر، نتایج مطالعه آرایهشناسی اعضای این جنس براساس صفات استخوانشناسی میتوانند به فراهم آوردن صفات ریختی آرایهشناختی آنها کمک کنند.
روش کار گونههای جنس Acanthobrama شامل A. marmid (از رودخانه دینهور- حوضه تیگریس)، A. persidis (از تنگه براق - رودخانه کر)، A. microlepis (از رودخانه بیجار - سرشاخه شهر بیجار) و A. urmianus (رودخانه شهرچای ارومیه) از منابع آبی حوضههای آبهای داخلی ایران (شکل 1) و در مجموع به تعدادی حدود 10 عدد از هر گونه نمونهبرداری شدند. همچنین، ویژگیهای محل صید نمونهها نیز ثبت شدند. گونه سیم معمولی Abramis brama نیز در این مطالعه بهعنوان برونگروه برای برای مطالعه تبارزایی اعضای جنس Acanthobrama در ایران انتخاب شد. نمای جانبی گونههای مطالعهشده در شکل 2 آمده است. شکل 1: موقعیت محل جمعآوری نمونههای مطالعهشده از رودخانه بیجار (A) و تالاب انزلی (B) در استان گیلان، رودخانه شهرچای (C) در استان آذربایجان غربی، رودخانه دینهور (D) در استان کرمانشاه و رودخانه کر (E) در استان فارس. ماهیان پس از صید در محلول گل میخک 1 درصد، بیهوش و در فرمالین بافری 10 درصد تثبیت شدند. فرمالین با توجه به اینکه خاصیت اسیدی دارد و در مدت طولانی باعث از بین رفتن فلس و استخوانها میشود، برای جلوگیری از این مشکل با افزودن 10 گرم سدیم مونوفسفات به یک لیتر فرمالین 10 درصد، محلول فرمالین بافری تهیه شد. نمونهها سپس به آزمایشگاه تکوین و بیوسیستماتیک دانشکده منابع طبیعی تهران منتقل شدند. محلول تثبیتکنندة نمونهها بعد از 48 ساعت تعویض شدند و پس از گذشت یک هفته نمونهها به الکل 72 درصد انتقال یافتند. بهمنظور مطالعات استخوانشناسی از هر گونه پنج نمونه براساس روش اصلاحشدة Taylor and Van Dyke (1985) شفافسازی و رنگآمیزی شدند. پس از شفافسازی، ساختارهای اسکلتی نمونههای مدنظر توسط یک اسکنر Epson v700 مجهز به حمام گلیسیرین اسکن شدند (شکل 3). سپس ساختارهای اسکلتی جداشده توسط یک دستگاه استریو میکروسکوپ Leica (MS5) بررسی و توصیف شدند. شکل 3: نمونه شفافسازی و رنگآمیزیشده مروارید ماهی پارسی Acanthobrama persidis Figure 3: cleared and stained Persian pearl fish Acanthobrama persidis.
با بررسی و مقایسه نمونهها، ویژگیهای استخوانی دارای اطلاعات[1] یا صفات استخوانی پسریخت[2] آرایههای بررسیشده، انتخاب و بهصورت وضعیت صفات توصیف شدند. قطبیت صفات نیز براساس روش Watrous and Wheeler (1981) تعیین شد. تعداد 10 صفت استخوانی در آنالیز تبارزایی برای بررسی مدل تکاملی نمونهها استفاده شدند. ماتریکس دادهها براساس صفات استخوانی مستخرج از مقایسه 4 آرایه بهعنوان درونگروه و یک آرایه A. brama بهعنوان برونگروه تهیه شد و دادههای نامشخص ماتریکس با علامت سؤال (؟) مشخص شدند. آنالیزهای تبارزایی براساس معیارهای بیشینه پارسیمونی (Maximum parsimony criterion) و Neighbour joining بهترتیب با استفاده از نرمافزارهای فیلوژنی PAUP (Swofford, 1998) و TNT (Goloboff Pablo et al., 2008) و Cluster analysis با استفاده از نرمافزار PAST (Hammer et al., 2001) انجام شدند و درخت شجرهشناسی براساس هرکدام از روشها براساس Permutation با هزار بار تکرار تهیه شد. آمارهای توصیفی بهدستآمده برای این مطالعه برای نشاندادن مقدار هموپلاسی کلادوگرام شامل طول درخت، شاخص تغییرپذیری (CI) و شاخص بازدارنگی (RI) بود که براساس روابط 1 و 2 محاسبه شدند (Lipscomb, 1998). CI = (کل تغییرات حالت صفت مورد انتظار مجموعه دادههای ارائهشده / تعداد واقعی مراحل روی درخت) × 100 (رابطه 1) CI = ((تعداد تغییرات حالت صفت روی درخت – حداکثر تعداد مراحل روی درخت) / (تعداد تغییرات حالت در داده – حداکثر تعداد مراحل روی درخت)) × 100 (رابطه 2)
نتایج پس از استخراج حالات صفات استخوانی در گونههای مطالعهشدة جنس Acanthobrama، ماتریکس دادهها برای 4 درونگروه و 1 برونگروه (Abramis brama) مطابق جدول 1 تهیه شد. صفات استخراجشده به شرح زیر بودند: جدول 1: ماتریکس دادهها برای پنج آرایه مطالعهشده شامل 4 درونگروه و 1 برونگروه (0= حالت کهن ریخت یا Plesimorphic، 1،2= حالت مشتقشده یا پسریخت). صفت 1: پیش اتموئید (0) غضروفی است، (1) نیمهاستخوانی است، (2) کاملاً استخوانی است. در گونه A. microlepis و A. urmianus (شکل 4 A و B) این صفت بهترتیب دارای حالتهای 1 و 2 است. سایر گونههای متعلق به این جنس و گونه برونگروه دارای حالت اجدادی هستند (شکل 4 C). صفت 2: بخش خلفی استخوان ومر (0) بلند بوده و از بخش میانی دو استخوان اتموئید جانبی عبور کرده است، (1) کوتاه بوده است و تا انتهای بخش میانی دو استخوان اتموئید جانبی امتداد دارد و از آن عبور نمیکند. علاوه بر برونگروه، گونه A. urmianus (شکل 4 B) نیز دارای حالت اجدادی این صفت است. در سایر گونههای مطالعهشده بخش خلفی استخوان ومر کوتاه بوده است و تا انتهای خط فاصل دو استخوان اتموئید جانبی امتداد دارد و از آن عبور نمیکند. در گونه A. marmid هر دو حالت برای این صفت مشاهده شد. شکل 4: نمای پشتی (A) و شکمی (B) جمجمه عصبی گونه A.urmianus و نمای پشتی استخوانهای اتموئید فوقانی و پیش اتموئید (C) گونه A. brama. Figure 4: Dorsal (A) and ventral (B) view of neurocranium in A.urmianus and dorsal view of supra-ethmoid and pre-ethmoid of A. brama صفت 3: صفحه خردکنندة شکمی در استخوان قاعدهای پسسری (0) بیضی شکل و دارای دو زائده جانبی تکاملیافته است، (1) دایرهای شکل و دارای دو زائده تکامل نیافته است. همه گونهها بهجز گونه A. persidis دارای حالت اجدادی هستند (شکل 4 B). صفت 4: استخوان قاعدهای پسسری (0) دارای دو برآمدگی توسعهیافته در بخش قدامی است، (1) دارای دو برآمدگی توسعهنیافته یا فاقد آن است. در گونههای متعلق به جنس Acanthobrama حالت انشقاقیافته (شکل 4 B) و در برونگروه حالت اجدادی مشاهده شد. صفت 5: حاشیه قدامی استخوان اتموئید فوقانی (0) دارای سه فرورفتگی بوده است، (1) دارای یک فرورفتگی میانی است (شکل 4 A). حالت اجدادی این صفت تنها در برونگروه مشاهده شد (شکل 4 C). صفت 6: استخوان سرپوس آبششی (0) تقریباً مستطیل شکل بوده و بخش پشتی و شکمی دارای طول برابر است، (1) حاشیه شکمی پهنتر از حاشیه پشتی است. همه گونههای مطالعهشدة جنس Acanthobrama دارای حالت انشقاقیافته هستند (شکل 5 A). حالت اجدادی تنها در برونگروه مشاهده شد (شکل 5 B). شکل 5: مجموعه استخوانهای سرپوش آبششی گونه A. urmianus (A) و A. brama (B). صفت 7: استخوان کامی (0) دارای یک زائده میانی نوک تیز است، (1) فاقد زائده است. حالت اجدادی این صفت فقط در برونگروه مشاهده میشود (شکل 6 A). در سایر گونهها حالت انشقاقیافته مشاهده شد (شکل 6 A). شکل 6: موقعیت استخوان کامی در بین مجموعه استخوانهای فک آویز گونه A. brama (A) و استخوان کامی گونه A. urmianus (B). Figure 6: the situation of palatine between suspensorium in A. brama () and palatine segment in A. urmianus. صفت 8: تعداد شعاعهای منشعب باله مخرجی (0) 26، (1) 14-15، (2) 9-10 است. تنها در گونه A. persidis تعداد 10-9 شعاع منشعب در باله مخرجی وجود دارد. صفت 9: سومین شعاع غیرمنشعب باله پشتی (0) نازک بوده است، (1) ضخیم است. تنها در گونه A. marmid این شعاع ضخیم بود. صفت 10: تعداد دندانهای حلقی در ردیف خارجی (0) 5، (1) 4 عدد است. در دو گونه A. marmid و A. persidis تعداد دندانههای حلقی 4 عدد بوده و در سایر گونههای مطالعهشده مانند برونگروه تعداد آنها 5 عدد بوده است. آنالیز پارسیمونی (parsimony) براساس ماتریکس دادهها، درخت پارسیمونی با یک طول درخت 12، شاخص ثبات (CI) 1 و یک شاخص بقا (RI) 1 بود. درخت consensus Majority براساس مقادیر بهدستآمده از 1000 تکرار، انتخاب و در شکل 7 الف نشان داده شده است. نتایج آنالیز الحاق همسایگان (Neighbor joining) نیز برای بررسی آرایههای مطالعهشده با 1000 تکرار BootN براساس 10 صفت استخوانی تعریفشده در شکل 7 ب آورده شدهاند. نتایج آنالیز خوشهای (Cluster Analysis) در شکل 8 آمدهاند. نتایج آنالیز خوشهای با نتایج آنالیزهای پارسیمونی و الحاق همسایگان تا حدی منطبق بوده و تفاوتهایی نیز داشتهاند که در ادامه بهطور مفصل بررسی شدهاند. شکل 7: درخت تبارزایی حاصل از آنالیزهای الحاق همسایگان (A) و پارسیمونی (B) برای آرایههای مطالعهشده جنس مروارید ماهی Acanthobrama، با استفاده از صفات استخوانی. شکل 8: آنالیز خوشهای صفات استخوانی برای آرایههای مطالعهشده جنس مروارید ماهی Acanthobrama Figure 8: Cluster analysis of osteological characteristics for studied taxa of Acanthobrama بحث طبقهبندی گونههای جنس Acanthobrama براساس صفات استخوانی، تأییدکنندة مطالعات قبلی درزمینة طبقهبندی اعضای این خانواده براساس صفات مولکولی است (Teimori et al., 2015). نتایج آنالیز پارسیمونی (شکل 6 B)، این جنس را به دو کلاد اصلی تقسیم کرد: کلاد اول شامل A. microlepis + (A. marmid + A. persidis) بود که آنها را از گونه A. urmianus جدا کرد. تفاوت بارز گونه A. urmianus مربوط صفت فرم استخوان ومر است که در گونه مطالعهشده نسبت به گونههای A. marmid، A. persidis و A. microlepis طویلتر است. همچنین، پیش اتموئید در A. urmianus برخلاف سایر آرایههای مطالعهشده کاملاً استخوانی است. براساس نتایج این مطالعه، دو گونه A. persidis و A. marmid نیز بهدلیل داشتن دو صفت پسریخت استخوانی شامل (1:0) نیمهاستخوانیبودن پیش اتموئید و (10:1) تعداد 4 عدد دندان حلقی در یک گروه قرار گرفتند که با نتایج آنالیز الحاق همسایگان همپوشانی داشت. در مطالعه تیموری و همکاران (2015) نیز براساس ژن میتوکندریایی Cyt b آرایه A. microlepis بهعنوان یک گروه مجزا در کنار کلاد A. persidis+A. marmid قرار گرفت. براساس آنالیز الحاق همسایگان (شکل 6 A) و خوشهای (شکل 7) اعضای این جنس به دو زیرکلاد شامل A. marmid + A. persidis و A. microlepis + A. urmianus طبقهبندی شد. بدین صورت که دو گونه A. urmianus و A. microlepis بهواسطة صفت (10:0) داشتن تعداد 5 عدد دندان در ردیف خارجی ساختار دندان حلقی در یک گروه قرار داده شدند. ازجمله شباهتهای استخوانی دیگر، به سومین شعاع غیرمنشعب باله پشتی میتوان اشاره کرد که از لحاظ ضخامت در دو گونه A. urmianus و A. microlepis مشابه است و با دو گونه دیگر تفاوت دارد؛ تعداد شعاعهای منشعب باله مخرجی آنها نیز برابر 26 عدد است. براساس طبقهبندی صورتگرفته توسط (Abbasi-Ranjbar et al. (2019 این دو گونه براساس صفات اندازشی نیز در یک گروه قرار گرفتند و در گذشته به اشتباه بهجای هم شناسایی میشدند (Coad, 2016). نتایج مطالعه ساختار استخوانی گونههای مطالعهشده، تفاوتهایی را در بخشهای مختلف ساختار اسکلت نشان دادند که در این میان بیشتر تفاوتها مربوط به جمجمه عصبی بود. ازجمله صفاتی که اعضای جنس Acanthobrama را از برونگروه در این مطالعه جدا کرد، شامل (4:1)، (5:1)، (6:1) و (7:1) است که بهترتیب مربوط به فرم استخوانهای قاعدهای پسسری، اتموئید فوقانی، سرپوس آبششی و کامی بود. علاوه بر این صفات، ویژگیهای دیگری ازجمله شکل استخوانهای فک آویز[3] توسط Jalili (2015) گزارش شدهاند. حاشیه قدامی استخوان فکی لامی[4] در جنس مطالعهشده همچون جنسهای Barbus و Capoeta گرد بوده است؛ درحالیکه در جنس Abramis دارای حاشیه قدامی مثلثی شکل است. همچنین، لبه پشتی خلفی این استخوان در گونههای مطالعهشده مانند گونههای Cabdio morar، Squalius orientalis، Alburnoides qanati و Barilius mesopotamicus دارای یک فرورفتگی عمیق است؛ اما در برونگروه کوچک و کمعمق است. شکل استخوان رجلی خارجی[5] در اعضای متعلق به جنس Acanthobrama همچون گونههای Cobitis faridpaki، Alburnus mossulensis، Alburnoides qanati، Barilius mesopotamicusو Chondrostoma regium کشیده است؛ درحالیکه در گونه Abramis پهن است. همچنین، حاشیه قدامی بخش افقی این استخوان دارای اشکال متفاوتی است، در آرایه برونگروه همچون Alburnoides qanati، Gobio lepidolaemus و Cyprinion watsoni (Jalili, 2015) دارای یک فرورفتگی کوچک است؛ اما در اعضای جنس Acanthobrama مطالعهشده صاف است. براساس مطالعات پیشین صفات مربوط به فرم استخوان قاعدهای پسسری و فرم صفحه خردکنندة شکمی، فرم استخوان فکی لامی، پیشسرپوشآبششی و استخوان دملامی و همچنین ویژگیهای مربوط به شکل و ساختار استخوان پیشومر، فوقپسسری، فک پایین، پیشفکی، فرم استخوان رجلی خارجی، استخوانهای قاعدهای آبششی، دملامی، کمربند سینهای و استخوان لگنی نیز بهعنوان کاراکترهای استخوانی مناسب معرفی شدند (Chen et al., 2001; Zhang, 2005; Jalili, 2015) که در بین آرایههای مطالعهشدة ما نیز این ساختارها دارای تنوع بودهاند و بهعنوان صفات مناسب برای تفکیک استفاده شدند. بهطور کلی دربارة گونههای مطالعهشده، مهمترین صفات جداکنندة استخوانی مربوط به جمجمه عصبی بود که بیش از نیمی از تنوع را به خود اختصاص داد. کاراکترهای مهم این بخش مربوط به تنوع در ساختارهای بخش اتموئید شامل اتموئید فوقانی، جانبی و ومر و همچنین استخوان قاعدهای پسسری واقع در بخش پسسری بود. ویژگیهای مهم بعدی مربوط به بخشهای مختلف فک، سرپوش آبششی و بالهها بود. سپاسگزاری این مقاله بخشی از پایاننامه ارشد بوده است و نویسندگان بر خود لازم میدانند مراتب تشکر خود را از دانشگاه تهران برای حمایتهای مالی اعلام کنند.
